Student Experience

As a new student, you need to understand what’s expected of you, and what services are available to help you succeed. Take time to familiarize yourself with all the online academic and career support resources included with your tuition.

Student Seminar

Student Seminar is where students get to engage with the instructor to learn about class materials for the week. Seminars occur once a week for each class, and attendance is mandatory.

Once enrolled in a class, you can sign up to receive weekly SMS reminders prior to the start of each seminar. To sign up, text SEMINAR to 787383. You will receive a reminder 30 minutes before each class seminar.

Studying Time

Plan to spend at least 15 to 18 hours per week on each course for 10-week terms and 20 to 25 hours per week for 6-week terms. To estimate how much time you’ll need for schoolwork, use our time management calculator.
